From that point on, Breakfinger started to play shows around the area. Soon, musical differences from the guitarist and the rest of the band caused the release of Dan Fries and the addition of David Budiac to the band to play guitar. The transition happened smoothly and Breakfinger kept performing without missing a beat.

Nearing the end of summer, Melby and the rest of the band parted ways due to his commitment to the football team and Breakfinger added members and continued under a different name.

Most of the members’ free time is spent working on/for the band. Practicing many times a week, writing new music, handing out demo CDs free to the public, updating the webpage (http://breakfinger.iwarp.com), and sending out a newsletter to a growing number of subscribers.

Breakfinger has played many shows in the time they have been around. Breakfinger has played at: Oconomowoc YMCA, Hartland Music, Church of the Resurrection, Arrowhead High School, and many other parties. Shows are what Breakfinger does best and enjoys the most.

Breakfinger continues to write music in hopes of recording a fill length album in the near future. Until then, they will continue to get their name out there and play shows to entertain people who want to hear good music and have a good time!
